PRAYER TO OUR LADY OF THE ROSARY, LA NAVAL DE MANILA

Holy Mary, at the sound of your voice, Elizabeth, was filled with the Holy Spirit, and the baby in her womb leapt for joy. Visit us as you visited the home of Elizabeth. During our earthly pilgrimage towards God's kingdom, may we magnify the Lord whose greatness endures from age to age, who lifts up the lowly, fills the starving with good things, and comes to the help of His servants.

MESSAGE FROM THE RECTOR FOR LA NAVAL FIESTA 2014
Fr. Giuseppe Pietro Arsciwals, OP
Rev. Fr. Giuseppe Pietro Arsciwals, OP

The role of the laity is one the important contributions of the Second Vatican Council. It used to be that the laity were defined only the exclusion : they are not members of the clergy. But are not members of the clergy. But Vatican II changed all that. The laity are not simply 'non-clergy' - they are important as bishops, priest and religious in continuing Jesus' mission on earth.
